Amy Coffman's Website

It's finally up! Our long wait for information about Amy Coffman's positions is finally over . . .

To be fair (as always), it is a perfectly adequate page. It doesn't have nearly the depth of Jason Kander's, and it does have a few minor typos (close that quotation on Senior Dignity!), but it does take a bold and shocking stand in opposition to Janis Joplin - "I refuse to believe that 'freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose.'” There goes the hippy vote . . .

I don't dare say anything more, for fear that her sister will accuse me of tearing apart a webpage that Coffman is "completely happy with", after her sister has "seen personally the work she is doing diligently on this highly anticipated website and frankly her detail to attention is what should be expected, not condemned.." So, go browse and see whether you agree with me that Jason remains the best candidate in the 44th, both in person and on the web.

(Update: It should be noted that Amy's first political attack was on Kris Kristofferson, the writer of the "Me and Bobby McGee" - Janis Joplin was only the performer.)

It's a good website. Informative, easy to navigate, easy to volunteer and donate. Looks to me like the residents of the 44th are fortunate enough to have good candidates to choose from.

Yeah democracy!

I agree with Sophia and Dan. It's a perfectly adequate site - no more and no less. Both candidates are now represented on the web - I look forward to meeting them in person.

What a sloppy, disappointing waste of time! Her position posts are pathetic. She manages to write them in such a way that, for example, you can't tell if she's in favor of vouchers or not. Or socialized medicine. Or choice. Or tort reform. If you go to Kander's site, you get actual positions.

In the battle of the websites, the soldier wins.

She is just another plus-sized, soft-headed say-anything woman. One Jolie Justus is all UMKC can afford. Jason can turn this victory into a real platform to take on a tax deadbeat like Cleaver and head to Washington. It is time to groom a president from Kansas City again.

Sophia get a life.

Yikes, it looks like my site has been discovered by an insane racist with undiscernable motives. Jolie Justus is one of the best things to happen to Kansas City politics (as is Cleaver), and even I, a strong supporter of Jason Kander, would describe Amy Coffman in any of the terms used by nutcase CP.

Please, readers, ignore the nonsense.

(I hate to comment during work hours, but sometimes it's necessary.)

" . . . would NEVER describe . . ." is what I meant. Sheesh.

Looks like the Voice in Amy's Head found a new handle.

Dan,
The same person is pulling the fake Kander supporter routine over on the blue blog, as well.

So sad. They should get a life.
