"Taste of Olathe"?
It's unfair how much I enjoy making fun of JoCo. And I can't begin to list the wise-ass comments that came to mind when I saw a fundraiser entitled "Taste of Olathe" scheduled for next weekend. White bread and white zin, anyone?
But my sarcasm doesn't help out deaf children, and the Taste of Olathe does. So, if you're out in JoCo next weekend, you really ought to take advantage of an opportunity to try food from 20+ Olathe restaurants.

Make fun of JoCo all you want, but I got tired of the scumbags in Jackson County.
I had been, at various times at theatres, hassled repeatedly, threatened to be shot once, and threatened to be stabbed once.
Always by a minority.
Strangely, over in JcCo, nothing like that has happened in the 11 years I have been here.
What's the median household income in Brookside, Dan? Something like $100,000 maybe? And, what was that percent minority population again?

Anyone else smell toast? It is my understanding that some leaders of the CCP met this weekend to discuss the removal of one Dan R from the executive committee because he is a liar and an asshole. You have to be both to be removed from the CCP ExCom.
wow, being removed from the CCP executive committee--how sad. They accomplish soooo much. For Christ's sake, outside of a small group of people, no one even knows who they are.
