Reconquista is Real?

Usually, the wisest course in reading Michelle Malkin is to avoid focusing. Why should you fill your beautiful mind with ill-informed hate?

But you've got to read this one, straight off the page of GOPUSA. In it, Ms. Malkin warns us all that Mexico is going to reclaim the American southwest as Mexican territory. No, I'm not kidding.

Just think about that. Hah. Hahahahahaha. Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Somebody on earth is worried about the big, bad Mexican government taking over parts of our country. Hah. Hahahahahaha. GOPUSA thinks it's worthwhile spreading this developing fear across the internets. Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Good God, please give the right wing a tiny bit of courage. They really need it. The poor little things are beset by imaginary threats wherever they look.

Reconquista. Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Michelle Malkin. Hahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Friend of mine has cancer. Young guy, about 35. No insurance as they cancelled him claiming cancer was a pre-existing condition(long story but lawyers are involved). No money for cancer treatment so parents got second mortgage on house and maxed out credit cards to pay for son's treatment. When they ran out of money, hospital quit treatments right in the middle of the treatment regimen.

As parents/son left the hospital, they walked through the ER waiting room, loaded with Mexicans (no doubt illegal), getting treatment for free. Meanwhile, my friend and citizen will probably die without treatment and his parents will have lost everything they have trying to pay to save his life.

Laugh all you want about reconquista .. it may be a far fetched dream of some far out lunatics, but make no mistake, we are being conquered by people who believe they deserve what our own citizens are being denied.

Travelingal - so sorry about your friend. A few questions, though. First off, why are you complaining about "illegal" immigrants when your friend is being killed by insurance companies and the failure of our nation to come up with a rational health policy. Second, how did the parents and son have such remarkable eyesight that they were able to discern the immigration status of the people waiting? Many good Americans I know look just like Mexicans. Third, how did the parents and son have such remarkable eyesight that they were able to discern whether or not the "Mexicans" were paying for their treatment? Fourth, are you really so misinformed as to believe that those people were getting the kind of care your friend needs?

I am sorry about your friend. If he has participated in spreading this story as you tell it, I hope he grows spiritually before he passes away (and I hope he has a long time to do it, too).
