Original Sin

The Creationism Museum has pulled a video it had featured on Adam, after it learned that the actor portraying the #1 rib donor owns a website called "Bedroom Acrobat".
"We are currently investigating the veracity of these serious claims of his participation in projects that don't align with the biblical standards and moral code upon which the ministry was founded," Answers for Genesis spokesman Mark Looy said in a written statement.

Phil Plait over at badastronomy.com had a bit more on the same subject:

"And as the actor who played Adam is quoted saying:

'But just because I’m Adam on the screen, that doesn’t mean I’m Adam off the screen… I’m hired to get a point across. On the flip side, if I was hired to play a murderer, that doesn’t mean I’d go out and kill somebody. It’s make-believe.'

Make believe. Yes, that fits the description of the "museum" quite well, I think!"

Brings back memories of when Marilyn Chambers lost her job as the Ivory Flakes 99.4% pure girl. Seems she had another acting gig on the side.

They missed a prime opportunity. She could have hawked the product with a line like, "This is what I use to clean with after a hard day's work."
