Cinematic Super-Size!
This is pretty cool. Local company AMC is showing all 5 of the Academy Award Best Picture nominees for only $30, and they're throwing in a free large popcorn, a free large drink, and unlimited refills all day.
Fortunately, the only one I've seen is being shown last, so I'll be able to leave a little early.

sincerely, someone who has not seen 3 out of 5 of the best picture movies but knows the fact that little miss sunshine is nominated is offensive to his sensibilities but will be seeing it on the same day as you, one hour off, because his roommate hasn't.

I saw The Queen. It's a girlie movie which I totally enjoyed. Helen Mira is Queen Elizabeth, absolutely fantastic acting. She portrys the Queen as a very stubborn woman who has lost her heart to the crown over her family, but deep down it's there. Her husband is a total creep. I couldn't have slept with that man if he was the only man on earth. I was surprised at the amount of coverage of Tony Blair. Well, I liked him before the movie. After the movie, I'd fluff the pillows but watch out for his wife!! lol
