Jeff Harris (Missouri's Next AG) Takes it Down a Notch

This is the Jeff Harris I have met and talked to. He's smart, funny, and a real person. He's going to be a great Attorney General.

(Update: Thanks to the code genius that fixed the video so it wouldn't automatically start up whenever you open the page.)

That's a pretty funny spot, and I really hope Jeff Harris wins. We need someone like him as Attorney General.

Great video. At least he wont come in last now that Molly Williams is in the race.

Thanks for posting this, Dan. It illustrates why Jeff is a terrific person and candidate, and why he'll be a great AG. I'd take 1/2 a Jeff Harris over 20 of Chris Koster, Margaret Donnelly and Molly Williams (whoever that is)

You would need 20 Jeff Harris to have the experience of 1 Chris Koster.

Video is an act of a desperate man with no real support.

BT - do you really, honestly think he's going to come in third? Because, in all seriousness, I would love to bet as much money as you'd care to put up that you're wrong. Email me if you're serious . . .

Jack - you're confused. Koster has experience as a county prosecutor. The AG is not a county prosecutor. Pay attention and learn the difference.

Jack, it would be great if you would use your real name and actually have something positive to say about anyone on any blog you post. Nice try to bring down Harris, but since the Koster cronies are the only one's with negative things to say, it just doesn't seem to be sticking. Maybe, just maybe, that's the reason for your constant online attacks - you know the same.

Yeah, Jack, "video is an act of a desperate man" like Barack Obama whose campaign has made tremendous use of online video in his campaign. If you're going to troll the web for Koster, at least try to have a clue about what you're talking about.

The Harris video's a great touch of work by our next Attorney General. Instead of dogging it, let's see what your candidate can come up with. My guess is not much beyond "I'm a prosecutor."

Koster has 14 years as an elected official serving the people of the state. Plus he served in the AG's office. Plus he served in private practice.

Stop telling me that Harris and his 6 years as a State Rep has somehow better experience. Nobody is buying that Koster's experience of 14 years is not better then Harris and his 6 years.

Dan the AG is also not a state rep elected by all of 25,000 people. Pay attention and learn the difference.

Jack -

Harris served for years and was a division head in the ATTORNEY GENERAL's office. The Attorney General experience is what counts here, not cutting plea bargains with mass murderers, don't you agree?

While it's true that Koster did work a stint in the AG's office, he was mentored by a criminal. Remember that?

Harris was one of a bunch of laywers working UNDER Jay Nixon. Lets all be honest, Harris was not the man, he was not elected and he was a follower not the leader. Not until 2002 did Jeff FINALLY step out from the shadows of Jay Nixon and became a state rep. from the middle of the state.

That is not even close to Koster's experience.

Koster was elected to the Missouri Senate in 2004. Re-elected in 2006. Prior to being elected to the Senate, Koster served as Prosecuting Attorney of Cass County for 10 years. Koster was elected and re-elected in a Democratic district - MULTIPLE TIMES. (anyone know who Ike Skelton is?)

So to be clear, in addition to working in the AG’s office early in his career, Koster has served the citizens of Missouri for 14 YEARS as an elected official. In addition, Koster has been elected and re-elected multiple times in a Democratic District.

Dan as for your comment refering to Bill Webster and Koster being mentored by a criminal, if you are going to make an accusation, be clear about it. The implication you are making is rediculous and I hope you recognize that. Koster has served the citizens of this state as an ELECTED OFFICIAL since he was 27 or 28 years old.

Dan, it is ok to support your guy but don't take cheap shots that you know are not true.

Jack -

Wow, I guess you didn't know. Bill Webster, Koster's boss, pled guilty to, I think it was embezzlement, and spent time in jail. I didn't forget.

How often has Koster been elected as a dem? How did he vote on vouchers?

Jeff Harris was unanimously elected minority leader.

Dan, are you trying to say something about Koster or just trying to tanish him by association? Just like Harris, you seem to like to take cheap shots.

You really need to us a little judgement when you make these comments.

Clearly, this will be the first time Koster is elected as a Democrat.

That being said, can you tell me why so many traditionally Democratic organizations are lining up to endorse him and not Harris or Donnelly? Labor Unions, Police, Prosecutors, Firefighters. Can you tell me why a county represented by Ike Sketlon for so many years, elected Koster and then re-elected him over and over.

Again, it is ok to support your guy but don't take cheap shots that you know are not true.

Jack, you say it is a cheap shot, and maybe it is (from your perspective), but then you claim it isn't true, and it most definitely is absolutely true. You might not like mentioning the fact that Koster cut his "public" service teeth at the side of a corrupt Republican, but it is absolutely true.

Since you want to dissociate yourself from Koster's past, let's look at what he's done during this race.

How did he vote on campaign limitations?

True or false - did he hire Jeff Roe?

How did he vote on school vouchers?

True or false - did he take almost $100,000 from Rex Sinquefield?
