Donnelly, Harris & Koster Together
The hottest primary in the state is between Margaret Donnelly, Jeff Harris and Chris Koster. They bring different backgrounds and visions to the race. The three of them will appear together on May 22 at a debate sponsored by the Committee for County Progress, free and open to the public, at White Recital Hall on the campus of UMKC. The event is currently scheduled to start at 6, though that could change. If so, I'll post a notice here. The debate will be moderated by Steve Kraske, of The Kansas City Star, Eric Wesson, from The Call, and Mike Mahoney, from KMBC-TV9.
Here's a pdf flier for the event.
This is the only joint appearance scheduled for the Western side of the state, and it should offer a great opportunity to meet and hear the candidates for yourselves.

Eric Wesson, now there's a name that lends credibility to any event. :::Eye Roll:::
Is John Bullard providing security for the So Called Democrat Koster?
should be pretty unbiased considering that Bough and Ryan cant detach their lips from Harris' behind.
A Hawk, listen, I don't know why you're attacking Koster for being "un-Democratic". Let's see – 6 months ago, he was the third ranking Republican in the Sentae, probably would have gotten the nomination with zero legit contenders, yet he jumps into a fielded Democratic primary with two other candidates? It doesn't make sense. The guy obviously supports the party, has made stem cell a priority since 2004, and yet he's still jumping hoops for skeptics…even McCaskill called him a "credible candidate". Give us all a break with the conspiracy theories
Is that the same McCaskill who wears a WWJTD bracelet? Is that the same McCaskill who voted for Telecom immunity? Is that the same McCaskill who unquestioningly votes with Bush's demands for more quagmire money?
Well stated, Anonymous. McCaskill is a former Democrat acting like a Republican, and Koster is a former Republican acting like a Democrat. Neither deserves my vote.
This is too funny. The reception is sponsored by the law firm of Lathrop, Gage, and Blunt.
Eric -
Lathrop has a bunch of good people (and a couple knuckleheads) from both sides of the aisle.
