Why do They Hate Hillary Clinton so Much?

For some reason, right-wingers has hot flashes when they think of Hillary Clinton. Hitlery, Hilldabeast, and so forth, are examples of the white-hot hatred that she provokes from the right. I don't understand.

She attracts more hate than other liberals, such as Ted Kennedy. She attracts more hate than other women in politics. For some reason, she's just a flash point for the hard right.

I even asked LJ at Look Both Ways why she attracts so much vitriol, and his response was
"Liberals are picking up on this Hillary talk and trying to create an anti-hillary sentiment like the anti-bush crowd was blasted for. It won't work. We are anti-hillary but it's mostly for the reasons listed below.

She is hated mostly because she personifies liberalism. Yes it's her policies. It's her name. It's her stupid smirks and her pride. Her carpetbagger ways and her socialist tendencies. Oh and also her husband. It's the families insistence that they are always right, even when they are wrong. (reminds me of a quote from Scarface,"I always tell the truth, even when I lie.")
Too bad for democrats they elected the wrong clinton to the white house because I don't think this country can take two of them."
In other words, "we hate her because we hate her, but don't say that we hate her."

Sometimes the right wing is simply odd. I think their hatred of Senator Clinton is bizarre and over the top.

I agree. A few parts of his response that I wanted to comment on.

"Liberals are picking up on this Hillary talk and trying to create an anti-hillary sentiment like the anti-bush crowd was blasted for."

The anti-Hillary sentiment of the right preceeds any anti-Bush sentiment. Most partisan Republicans hated Hillary before most Dems even knew much of anything about George Bush. In otherwords, liberals are "trying to create" anything. We don't need to. As for the anti-Bush crowd, I'm the first to admit that there are a few people out there who irrationally hate Bush however I think the vast majority of us so-called Bush-haters have very rational and thought out reasons for disliking the man. I know you outlined some of your reasons as did I here on blog. I think that both of these arguments (and others I've read) surpass the "I just hate her" reponse you got to your question.

I do think Hillary Clinton would be a horrible candidate for the White House in 2008 (I'm not yet convinced that there will definately be an eleciton in 2008), not because she would be incapable but because she has been so demonized by the far right that she would have a difficult time. The first female to take the presidency is gonna have a rough time going against the GOP even with a clean slate, and I find there to be little chance Hillary could win.

Isn't hate also a rather common reaction to things you're not familiar with, don't understand and think may be threatening your view of the world? I'm not saying that understanding will always lead to agreement, but it usually disables hate.

And I'm not sure why being smart and not being shy about it should be perceived as such an offence, considering that's how most male presidents of the US have behaved.

Why the right doesn't like Hillary:
1. She is nakedly and unabashedly ambitious.
She seems willing to do virtually anything to get ahead. For ex. sticking with Bill because it enhanced her chances for higher office even though she appeared to have little affection for him. Moving to NY to become a Senator. Losing/hiding/finding Rose Law Firm files. The list could be far longer, but you've heard it before.

2. She does not appear to have a world view grounded in a particular philosophy or moral system other than expediency.

3. She is bright and capable which is particularly dangerous when combined with 1 and 2 above.

She isn't loathed because she is a woman or a Clinton. She is loathed because she is perceived as amoral, Machiavellian, and dangerous for America.

Brian - I guess I won't send you the Hillary '08 t-shirt I bought in your size.

Anonymous - I have to argue that the hatred of Hillary exceeds what I've seen of the hatred of Bush - though I'll admit that my beliefs likely filter what I see. Most of what the right-wing whined about as Bush-hating was the fact that most of the left wanted anybody but Bush. From the ferocity and obsessiveness shown toward Ms. Clinton by the major rightwing media, such as Hannity and Limbaugh, you get the idea they wouldn't piss on her if she were on fire.

Well, Carol, you're entitled to your opinion, though it's not a particularly insightful one. I have met her, and she did not strike me as arrogant. I'm not sure what you mean by her hyptocritical nature - I'd be interested in hearing your specifics.

As for what she's done for NY, she got millions for the High Line project, millions for Western NY highways, and she's obviously served her constituents well enough her approval ratings are around 65%. If you're interested, check out her page of announcements - http://clinton.senate.gov/news/statements/index.cfm.
Personally, I'm impressed with her accomplishments, given that Lott greeted her election with a vow to "remind her" that she's only one of a hundred senators. She's done quite a bit, actually.

Gee Dan it's really an honor to have someone here that "met" Hill. Now if your done bragging about yourself lets hear from you on specifics. She? got millions for highways in western New York? Too Funny. Maybe she's planning a quick escape back to where she came. It's almost automatic that all states get money for highways. Just need an inspection report that says so. Why don't you be more specific and let us all know WHAT has actually Hill. done? besides milk New York. Oh and by the way their dog was hit by a car after attempting to escape from being left alone all the time in chapp.

Thanks, Anonymous, for posting exactly the type of frothing, know-nothing hatred that typifies the Hillary-bashers.

I want you to go to your room now, read what has been written, by both the pro-Hillary people in this thread, and the anti-Hillary. Pay particular attention to the anti-Hillary, and how they make their arguments and focus on the issues. Notice how they are intelligent and well-informed, and don't veer off into mentally unhealthy speculation about a dog's state of mind. Concentrate, anonymous, and think hard about what motivates you. Think about why you are so angry, and why you expect other people to do your research for you.

After you do this thinking, you're probably going to feel a little sheepish about what a jackass you've been. That's okay - that's part of the growing process.

When you've grown up and reached intellectual maturity, feel free to come back here and talk at the big people's table.

Run along now.

i just read about hillary bashing the bush admin for cheeny 'hiding info'. how soon everyone forgets.

Soon after Clinton lawyer Vince Foster committed suicide under mysterious circumstances, his office was cleared out. Along with his office went the Whitewater billing records and several key pieces of evidence. Evidence suggests that Clinton associate Bernard Nussbaum purposely delayed access to the office to investigators. Not to mention the mysterious suicide in which there is some hint that evidence was tampered with. Witnesses have testified they saw Clinton aides clearing the supposedly sealed office.

I wonder where those whitewater billing records came from.
Years after they had disappeared from Vince fosters office, subpoenaed Whitewater billing records appeared in the White House. In January of 1996 an aide stumbled across them sitting on a table in the White House. They couldn't have been sitting their all these years unnoticed. Hillary's finger prints were on them.

Being a New Yorker, I can not stand Hillary because, she came in, said, "I'm taking over now!" and most New Yorkers (not me) actually fell for it! She is not a senator! She just did it to get away from her snotty, power-hungry husband! (whom I also could not stand, not that I can stand this president either). She also voted to send troops to Iraq. Aside from asking Bush where the WMDs are, we should be asking her too!

I'm so sick of reading bashes and getting joke emails about Hillary Clinton being a man, calling her evil names, etc. If NY'ers hate her so damned much then why did they VOTE for her? Am I understanding this correctly? The most talked about state in the union, known for it's "supposed" hospitality, (yeah right) and people coming together for one another, and you guys can't even stop the name calling, and blaming of ONE woman for all the things wrong in your state, and in the country? hahaha! I'm amazed you don't stop and think about all the previous senators you have had who laid the foundation on what turmoil the state of NY apparently seems to be in, or that citizens of your state claim it to be in. Stop whining and start making the changes you want to see. Just bitching about it on a daily basis doesn't do any good... I support any woman who can withstand the scrutiny she has had to go through! A lying cheating husband, for the ENTIRE world to see. Yeah, I'd say she's got balls alright, and she should be damn proud of it!!! Like any MAN would be. Go Hillary!

I hate her not because she knows how to play the game, I respect anyone who can accomplish their goals.

I hate her because she is so plastic, false, and mostly because dumb nuts liberals buy into her rediculous, superficial, insincere rhetoric. She knew about Bill's indiscretions, yet came on t.v., cried and claimed she didn't know. She stole property from the Whitehouse (remember that Donkies?). She instituted a policy wherein people in the Whitehouse were not even allowed to look her in the face. Who does she think she is?

My main concern with her is that she isn't a committed environmentalist. I think her politics are too facile. While I'm sure she would be a competent president and appoint capable people, it's hard to be inspired by someone who's primary claim to leadership is that she can make the trains run on time. I know after 6 years of the incompetent leadership we've just been through, the ability to be competent might be all we're willing to settle for. But still, I think we can have both competence and progressive direction. Oh by the way, for those who think the so called clinton scandals had the least bit of substance; you're absolutely insane. That was just republican dirty politics as usual and should be ignored by anyone intelligent enough to use a voting machine.

I know you may say, but what about Bush, blah, blah, blah... Bush may have his problems, but he supports the free market. This is one of the great strengths of our country and economy. Socialism is a proven failure. Take a close look at the horrid medical care the Canadians get and the number of medical professionals that come to the US to work.

I still don't exactly understand why Republicans in particular have such an intense level of loathing for Sen. Clinton. If you want a lesson in scummy politicos, from "carpet-bagging" to smearing other candidates, from placing actual subliminal messages in campaign advertisements that says "rats" when Al Gore is on the television to the endless diatribes against gays (which, by the way, 20 years from now will look as absurd and horrific as the blatant racism of politicians in earlier years prior).....if you take all of the possible ways a politician can embody "corruption," you will often find yourselves looking at a Republican! Let's be honest here: are all of the alleged scandals - the Rose Law firm, the Foster suicide, etc, even comparable to the ridiculous scandals of the Dubya administration that seem to occur daily? Then why, oh why!, can Republicans support the most corrupt people in the damn universe and then have the audacity to accuse Hilary as being "dangerous" for her ambition and politically-motivated actions? Oh wait, that's right: because she is 1. a woman and 2. aware of her own intelligence and strength. She is to those who despise her for no obviously logical reason the "Lady Macbeth" of the 21st century; the idea of an ambitious woman has always struck male chauvinists as being so unnatural and against the "modest and sweet" nature of the female, that any woman who shows any "male" ambition or awareness of her own strength is so horrifying they can't handle it. The degree to which Hilary is loathed can only be explained by this basic chauvinistic fear, as even the worst of her "wrong-doings" are not any worse (if not better) than most involved in politics.

No wonder incompetent, corrupt leaders get elected - just look here at the electorate - at who's voting! These are Americans who have been given the voting franchise and yet they evidently can't hook together three grammatically correct, simple sentences. I don't know how else to identify them - they're idiots!! There may or may not be reasons to support Hillery Clinton, but none of the old reliables, the allegations of Arkansas scandals, make even the clumsiest logic. If any of these allegations had held up, Hillary would have been forced out of politics years ago. But despite the fact that her fellow senators of both parties agree that she is one of the hardest working people in congress, your "posters" rant and rave about her like street drunks reeling about and make about as much sense! It's absolutely amazing just how stupid some people can be and apparently not know it - how they can make it to "adulthood" and not have any idea of how bad they appear?(I suspect a lot of the crazy diatribe in your postings is from teenagers and people in their twenties and thirties who suffer from arrested development!!

You might want to turn to something with more potential to enlighten the general debate - a bit more productive than drawing out pathetic, ignorant Americans, who comprise one of the worst poitical rabbles in the world, to a set-up issue like "Hillary Hate" - unless you did it on purpose to expose them for who and what they.

Hillary's lack of nuance has made it clear, she's bought and paid for, by the far left, and the far left is not the democratic base.

She can't win the general election if she keeps pandering to the far left. But in the 'eat your own' world of secular progressives, she can't win the primary if she appears to be getting close to the aisle.

It's a no win!

Would you all feel more comfortable if Clinton played the role of what a woman should play? I kind of find it funny. But I think that a lot of posters on this blog may have a hard time managing there own identities. They feel threatened that a woman could have such power and thus because they see a woman in a "man's" role it gives un-centered people a queer feeling that the world is spinning the wrong way and water is no longer quenching. I have read a lot of muck raking about how there was a scandl and that is why she should not be in office; a little news, most every public figure has a little dirt on their hands.
Oh and the socialist propaganda!!!! my oh my! well we have two maybe three ways to skin this one.
First, the world is shrinking people are having babies that are not going to be needed to work on farms so they will need to move closer to others because they are going to be more likely to find jobs, when people start to come together a little more order is better than having minimal government (which is not so bad if you live out in the country and all you have to do is pay a little to the government to manage public goods and services like the post), but living in the city there is going to be a lot of tension because in the city your neighbors will be three feet to your left and right, not 30+ miles that your red fearing grandpapy grew up on.
Secondly, the mainstream socialism that the majority of leftist politicians would in no way resemble the frankin-socialism of the USSR, we will be able to buy as many loafs of bread we want when we want to eat. If you want to ignore the progression of culture and society please do choose to live on a farm... but it is the socialist propaganda that tolerates farm subsidies. enjoy ;)

We all can disgaree about many things and there are so many things need to be done in this world, instead of spending that x amount of energy spewing hatred for someone based on something that has nothing to do with the pursuit of truth, let us all spend that x amount of energy into making this world a better place......i feel very very sad, so many people out there, republicans and democrats, conservatives and liberals...would conveniently pick and choose facts and figures....to support their ideologies and belief systems.....so comfortable to stay within their own little boxes....so scared to venture out and reexamine what they hold as truth and expose it to challenges and in the process...GROW.....the world needs to grow....and here in America, people need to grow......i do not know Hillary and i have never met her....but i would bet my life on this....she is not this evil monster....she is just someone with very strong belief and conviction that she can make this world a better place....just like other presidents before her....it just that her ideas on how to go about it maybe different than yours.....has it ever occured to you that that might just be the case?

My biggest concern is that she is deeply compromised by a foreign intelligence agency. If you have not read "Year of the Rat" or "Betrayed" it's hard to believe the level of connection that she and Bill have with the People's Liberation Army.

The recent round of fundraising scandals, again involving immigrant Chinese, tells me it's still going on.

If elected it maybe the first time we've elected a foreign intelligence assett to the highest office.

Aside from that there is the fact that she is a Socialist and liar.

I hate Hillary mostly for the haughty look on her face. But I also hate her for everything I read about her in The Final Days: The Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House by Barbara Olson. The most prideful, arrogant and self aggrandizing humans in the whole USA.

The fact that Bill was cheating on his wide in the Oval office does truly make me want to puke. When I think of how hard my parents and my wifes parents have worked to have a beautiful working marriage and my own 16 years - I truly feel that cheating like that for the whole world to see and laugh at and mock, makes me ill. How utterly embarrassing.

If Hillary wins? Well she'll be in charge of the soldiers and the middle east. Considering the horrible things the Iranians have said about Condoleeza Rice, I shudder to think how these open face liars will react to Hillary.

I am also embarrassed that I worked for the Sylvestre Reyes (D) campaign in 98/99.

I hate ALL politicians and think that people who just adore any politician is a complete moron and a loser...

Everyone should just go to church, look after your family and just hope for the best.

I hate Hillary because she has already won. There's not a Democrat or a Republican who's running who can stop her and Ross Perot is not interested. Beyond that, she knows she's won.

She's already got Sandy Berger working for her, she's taken $850,000 in illegal campaign contributions, and she's been caught listening to recordings of political opponents talking about her on their cell phones.

Why do we need primaries, conventions and elections anyway? It's a done deal! Get over it!

I am researching why people love/hate Hillary to help me in determining who I will cast my caucus vote for in January here in Iowa.

From reading this blog the reason given for loving/hating her are that she's:

Intelligent
Successful
Ambitious
Stands her ground
Listens to & compromises with fellow senators on both sides on the aisle
Passionate about helping improve health care for children and adults
She knows how to play the game of politics and win
Stands by her cheating spouse

Sounds like the people who hate her are afraid of a successful woman. I have a feeling that if these were qualities describing a man that they'd support this person.

Hillary Clinton has no track record to run this country. She has never been employed as a manager of a small city let alone a country. She has under-performed as a Senator. She is a poor choice for the Democrats. If she is nominated, the democrats will lose the election, and they will go ballistic. Her Zogby poll negative rating is over fifty percent, no one has ever been elected with a negative rating this high.

I do think that there are a lot of people who hate Hillary because they're frustrated. Frustrated in seeing others band behind her for the wrong reasons.

It would be great to have a female president, but don't elect her on chromosomes alone. That's sexist. And dont elect her on her last name alone. That's lastnameist.

No problem with a woman being elected. We in American have come a long way and only have an issue with blatantly manipulative types. Hillary Rodham Clinton is all that while running for the presidency as a strong woman, (please), yet maintaining a strong cling to her "husband's" coat-tails.

She ain't no Margarete Thatcher. Now, that's a strong candidate, male or female, that you want in office.

I happened on this conversation via the comments to the current Doonesbury cartoon. I wanted to find out why a certain sort of American hates HRC. She doesn't seem any different to any other politician; her "scandals" do not seem greater than others. Yet, there's this immense foam-at-the-mouth hatred for her. Having read this thread, I am still none the wiser; a bit more bewildered and a little disappointed - for years I've been an Americanophile but less so with the advent of Bush - and my respect and admiration for the USA is diminished by the ant-HRC comments. Americans do not, it seems, live in a rational republic.

My own tuppence-worth is that the kernel of Hilary hatred starts with her as a woman, but isn't helped by the fact that she worked with the Watergate speicial prosecuters office. Karl Rove, for example, was a protégé of Donald Segretti, as well rumoured to be gay; he does seem particular misogynistic. Interestingly, Rove demonizes HRC every chance he gets, just to keep the pot boiling.

It seems to me that one of the background threads to American politics post-Reagan is the GOP's need for revenge. Tricky Dicky - that paragon of virtue - was criminally forced out of office. Ummm.

How the fuck can you be so hypocritical to say you're a "patriot" when you threaten to harm a member of the American polity? A patriot defends both sides of the house.

Wow, the big "censorship" bogeyman. In other words, this comes no where near a free-speech issue; indeed, free-speech isn't a totality. Or can you make threats against other people without sanction these days in the USA? Besides, the guy admitted making a threat in his next email. I'm gonna take his word for it.

And ad hominen attacks into the bargain. Nice. Debate at it's finest.

The only consistent thing to emerge so far is a lack of humility. I can think of a lot of politicians, and possibly a few past presidents, who lack or lacked humility. Not exactly worth expending all that energy over is it now? So, really, what is this "lack of humility" code for? The fact that she won't stay in the kitchen? Get a life, guys.

2. When she gave a speech in South Carolina, she tried to immitate a southern drawl... She's from Illinois!
3. She renounced the Cubs for the Yankees. I'll give you three guesses as to why and the first two don't count.
4. In a 60 Minutes interview she said, "I’m not sitting here as some little woman ’standing by my man’ like Tammy Wynette." Actually Hillary, yes, you are, and for your own political gain, too
5. She wants too much change too quickly. If she is going to 'Hillarize' all of public policy, not even to what she really thinks would be best for america, but to what she thinks will get her reelected, she will be railroading for four years straight.

Hi Everyone. I'm sorry to give you one less reason to hate Hillary, but I killed myself that cold day in the park. I'd just started some new meds and I was sort of depressed.

Hillary and Bill were long time friends of mine, and I'm super sad that my death cast any doubt upon them. Please just believe the three seperate investigations that determined my death a suicide. And all the evidence. And, well, the extreme remoteness of any other explanation.

I commit suicide so it was difficult, though thankfully not impossible, to get to heaven. Yeah, we were all wrogn about that one, go figure.

Anyway, now that I'm up here with God, He's asked me to have a chat with the GOP disciples who no longer can seperate the secular government from my supreme governance. Anyway, He's asked me to ask you to stop speaking on his behalf. He'd like for you to understand that hate is not His plan. Also, He would like you to know that in his estimate Hillary is a good person. She has worked who whole adult life on behalf of others and towards policies that might cost money, but help society.

He also wants to remind you all that politics is a career just as any other. As such, it is actually okay to move to different cities as the opportunities present, and to have ambition. It is okay to become good at your career. It is also okay to make mistakes in life. He gets sad when He looks down at all of you and sees the most flawed among you tearing apart others like carion.

Anyway, y'all who are still going to "church" in warehouses are the reason I couldn't stand to be around anymore.

Arrogant + incompetent = disaster.

I'm from N.Y. Hillary has exactly one term more of service in the Senate than Obama. That's the extent of her "experience." Before that, she was the president's wife and the governor's wife, NOT an elected official. She occupied rarefied, unaccountable positions outside of the political arena. Her main role - her real "experience" - was to be her husband's dirty tricks person and hatchet woman. Now, as N.Y.'s junior Senator, her list of accomplishments can only be described as undistinguished. Remember, she sat out the greater part of her first term on the grounds that she was "learning the ropes." In reality, she's merely been planning this run all along. Arrogance + incompetence = disaster. She does not deserve to be president. Please God let Obama blow past her to the nomination - I don't want to have to think about voting for a Republican in November.

You know if you all want to see what Hillary's vision for change is you should look her up. She's a pretty smart and outspoken woman. I know it's hard for some people to respect a brainy girl, especially one who goes to foreign countries and speaks for women's rights. And some girls minds are warped by what the cute boys have said to them about Hillary. She doesn't stand for anything and blahblahblah. You really should look her up...she stands for science, stem-cell research, health care (which does work for many countries around this beautiful world), she has helped the poor and sick children since she was out of High School. You scoff at her for staying with a man that cheats on her, something most men do anyway whether they are in the public eye or not. And guess what, most women forgive and forget because they have love in their hearts and god knows men make tons of mistakes that we have to forgive all the time. And as for the war on Iraq. I was a devout conservative. I voted for Bush both times. I cried and I cheered when we went over to Iraq and I watched CNN for hours a day. But you know what, when the media finally looked at what was going on and finally started talking about it. I changed my mind. I cried and cried when I saw what we were doing to the people over there and over here. Most people did change their minds. We were told it was unpatriotic to go against Bush, Heck even I said it was unpatriotic. Look what happened to the Dixie Chicks for goodness sakes. I boycotted them too but you know what, I made a mistake. And so did most Americans who are now realizing that they were brainwashed by Bush (a very stupid man). Whatever happens, I hope you all do vote for the right president. And I hope you do your research before judging someone by their facial expressions. She's probably a Virgo...they always look pensive... :-) God Bless America and freedom of speech. God Bless Hillary Clinton!!! Another smart person is Obama...he was a professor at the Chicago University. You should check him out too. :-) I want a smart president next time.

PS And all of us are smug by the way, were Americans and that is something to be proud of, isn't it?

Boy that post above me is scary. America is so dumb... No one disputes Hillary's intelligence, or her "will to win." Let's even say she's a nice person. I don't give a F', idiot! The problem is that in her narcissism and her liberalism, you can see her sense of herself; a benevolent ruler telling her subjects what's best for them. Try that shite in Central America, go run one of those counties, Hill. I don't need you to fend for myself, and I don't want you telling me how to use my money, who I have to give it to, etc. If you people want to live like children for the rest of your life, move to a socialist country. This is America.

I really didn't understand the way americans vote until now. Say a lie a million times and it becomes a truth.... before I thought,it a republican thing to do, but after reading all these comments it also includes democrats.I think most of the negative comments are made from men that are insecure and cannot possibly bear having a woman in the highest office. Remember When a man shows emotion they call it compassion.

They hate her because she is a woman, who is smarter than her husband. She stayed married to get elected as the first female Prez, she did it for us...:) You can't trip her up, so they steam in envy. They can't bear to let go of their crumbling patriarchy.

Poor Obama plays the pity card. When did black MEN get the right to vote? When did women get the right to vote? A woman is the ultimate change, and that is how it is going to end up.

Down the in flames, the wars, the rape, the theft.

It is true many men would vote for a male rather than the most competant of women. Unfortunately many people are being swept away by the Obama spectacle, not having a clue what he realy stands for. Who really knows him? He reminds me of the Supreme Court Justice Roberts, who was so careful in his life not to tread on anyones toes, do everything right to win the most coverted of prizes.

Castration anxiety is an idea put forth by Sigmund Freud in his writings on the Oedipus complex; it posits a deep-seated fear or anxiety in boys and men said to originate during the phallic stage of sexual development. It asserts that boys, when seeing a girl's genitalia, will falsely assume that the girl had her penis chopped off, probably as punishment for some misbehavior. The boy then becomes anxious lest the same happen to him.
It's not surprising that the primitive, inarticulate baboons commenting on this site resort to the most base sexual epithets. They are obviously not only threatened by anyone, especially a woman, with any intelligence, they're simply terrified of a woman having power over them. They suffer from castration anxiety.
Castration anxiety literally means the fear that one's penis will be chopped off, but more profoundly it may symbolize the child's fear that he will, like Oedipus lose his power (and his love object as well - ie. his mother). Thus the boy harbours an unconscious wish to kill the father. (In this case, Hillary in the patriarchal role of president is an even more confusing nad terrifying). I didn't understand this irrational, extreme hatred for the woman until now, but seeing the remarks of the in-bred, digitally challenged imbeciles who have commented here, it is now crystal clear who these people are: a bunch of mentally-retarded, (needless to say)uneducated, and very sick people trapped inthe phallic stage and probably in need of serious treatment. I hope Hillary's health plan will help these poor morons get the help they need. Reading the comments here made me realize that people who don't have much need to cling to their hatred for dear life. I don't think it's a bad idea at all that people should have to pass some sort of i.q./citizenship test in order to vote.

All of the Hillary hate is firing me up! Who cares about the Rose law firm issues? How long ago was that? Millions were spent to investigate her and there was little to find! Let's start the Bush laundry list of ethical violations. Who cares if she stood by her man? Maybe she believes in making marriage work, like all of you conservative types try to suggest is being wrecked by liberals! Maybe she is so committed to public service that she chose to stay with him. It truly is her business. We love to hate smart successful women. I am going to vote for Hillary because I believe she is truly the champion of families. I am so tired of hypocritical right wing types who think their morality is the only morality. So Brian, go find Hillary's chocolate chip recipe, make you a batch, pick up a good read like "It Takes A Village" and open your mind.

I hate her health care plan. The universal one that is going to waste billions and leave us worse off. Look north of the border. If you like waiting 8hrs to be seen at the ER. If you like 6 months to have a CT scan of your cancer. Then the hillary plan is for you. And who better to implement it.

Im voting Dem this year to improve our international image, to motivate the american people to be great, to lead a positive presidency. I do not want a policy maker obsessed with altering the inner workings of america. Hillary is everything I think our 2008 president shouldn't be.

Policy Guru (universal Health care)
Polarizing and dividing
Uninspiring
Someone who doesnt stand for anything.

Frankly, she makes a great lawmaker, just not the leader of the United States of America!

The responses on this page explain so much about how and why the U.S. is in the shape it's in and why the rest of the world thinks Americans are undereducated, gun-and-bible thumpin' bullies. (Note: must improve education system in this country so hateful bloggers and trolls can spew more readable invective.)

Not to worry, the more conservative of the two democrats, Obama, is poised to be the big winner. And you know what I heard about him? He's a feminist too! That's right, apparently he doesn't even hate women. And he'll be a cinch to win over McCain, so rest easy li'l bigots: women and men of color are here to stay and will now start working to fix the problems caused by the rest. This is a very historic election and the only thing to be angry about is how long it took us to get here.

To the rest of the world: we deeply regret foisting Bush & Company on the world for two terms, but it was against our will and we intend to elect someone much better this time.

Hillary would actually make a great president to transition away from the politics of hate, fear and death (Bush) and toward a more inclusive, compassionate and smarter worldview. Her policies are rock solid and she's got the wisdom, chops and maturity to get us there. She rocks and she's a fine looking woman, by the way. Obama is prettier, but most of us can look beyond the pretty face to see the true potential. He will make a good leader.

I did something I've never done before in my life: I voted Democratic in the Virginia primary. And do you know why? Because I hate Hillary so much that I wanted to cast an anti-vote against her by voting for Obama, even though I generally vote Republican! Most constituents don't have a clue as to the voting record of their Senator. The average person, regardless of party, reads the comparison column about 2 minutes before heading to the polling booth, and that is about as "enlightened" as their decision will ever be.

At least for the Democrats, the 2008 issue is pretty cut & dried: any Black legislator who doesn't want to commit political suicide will back Obama -- to do otherwise could lead to them being forever labeled an "Uncle Tom." As for most women (and I do say "most"), they will back Hillary simply because she is a woman and they feel they would betray their gender if they didn't back her. Simple as that.

Bottom line is that most Americans just don't want to be bothered with having to look at anything too far in depth, particularly things political. So, the Black folk will support the Black Man, the women will support the Woman, and those who aren't Black or those who aren't women will make up the difference. Unfortunately, those left over will most likely camp out under the table of whichever candidate promises to throw them the most scraps over the course of 4 years.

as a woman I would rather never see a woman president than to have Hillary be the first. She is just such an angry woman. If she was truly as strong as she pretends, she would have dumped that cheating basterd of a husband and proven to the world that she can do this by herself. I have zero respect for her. Their marriage is a sham. They are as fake as two people can be and we want this immoral person to be our president? Wasnt 8 years of immoral action enough? Go Obama!

Give me a break all of you!!! Obama has nothing to offer and is more arrogant than any candidate I have ever seen. Watch how his chin is always sticking up in the air. He has nothing concrete to offer, has openly admitted that he is disorganized in a previous debate, and has not accomplished anything for our country thus far. He is a novice at politics. He speaks well, but words mean nothing when you don't have a history of political accomplishment and a concrete, organized and detailed plan of action. Hillary knows exactly what she is doing and where she wants to go. If a woman is smart, ambitious and capable, she is a bitch? Is a bitch a woman who stands by her husband even after he is pleasured by an intern. Give Hillary a break. She would be determined to get things done. She knows the system and she is not a bitch. She is a strong, powerful woman with a lot of determination. Obama is a power-hungry inexperienced man with empty promises. If Obama were not so power hungry, he would consider being Vice President, but the prospect of leading the country is not as important as coming first to him. You guys who are voting for Obama are going to seriously regret it!! Everyone said Al Gore was boring and many didn't vote for him. Screw charisma, look at our country now. Be practical people!! Vote for Hillary for goodness sake!

She always preaches that she is all for woman not getting abused. I will bet you 5 million dollars that when she was with bill that she was once abused. She was mentally abused and verbally abused. So all i have to say to that is that she is a fake. And then she goes around useing him. Because she knows that that only way to win president is if she has his support. Well guess what all she is going to do is use him for all that he is and then divorce him as soon as she wins. unles the people of america see that she will win and will will all be in hell. She is a fack kwhat kind of person goes around dissing obama who i also hate and then one time say that she is all for offering him the vp? She is the one that needs to be concerding the vp for mcain. Or frankly she just needs to plainly drop out. She is so unbelievably stupid to think that she can win it just because she is a woman. And obama is dumb to think that he can only win it because he is black. Well guess what people condalesa rice is black and a woman. Top that what are you going to say then that you are anti... owh wait you cant.

THE REAL HILLARY CLINTON: Episode #21 - Why Cops and Firemen Hate Hillary
dfu | 1-7-03 | dfu

Posted on Tuesday, January 07, 2003 1:07:29 PM by doug from upland

Going to link #20 will give links for Episodes 1-19.
#20 - Childish Behavior at the President's Historic Speech

NOTE: the survival of our Republic is threatened by two things -- fundamentalist Islamic terrorists and Hillary Rodham Clinton. President Bush is leading the fight against the terrorists. It is up to those of us who know the real Hillary Clinton to lead the fight against her. We must shine the light of truth on this dangerous woman so that all Americans may know the real Hillary.

#21 in the continuing series.

(Sources for this episode include author Richard Poe, NewsMax, and FOXNews.)

On Sept. 14, 2001, Hillary Clinton, New York's junior senator, visited Ground Zero. You might not have read it in the New York Times, but many of New York's finest, the police officers and firemen, refused to shake her hand. These heroes see things much more clearly than the average America who still does not know the real Hillary.

On Oct. 20, 2002 she was literally booed off the stage at Paul McCartney's benefit Concert for New York. The boos were substantially edited out when the tape was sold to the public. That will be included in a future Hillary episode.

Fireman Mike Moran, who lost his brother and our FReeper friend, Battalion Commander John Moran, knows the real Hillary. "She doesn’t believe the things she says," said Moran. "…I don’t think there has ever been a sincere word that has ever come out of her mouth." The firemen know that all she cares about is a photo op to help her get back into the White House.

It would be common decency that a Senator from New York would attend the funerals of heroes who died on 9-11. There has been no such decency from Hillary. We can only find evidence that she attended one funeral -- the burial of Father Mychal Judge, which was a media-saturated event. The other two events she attended were televised memorial events at Yankee Stadium and at Ground Zero. According to journalist Betty Harpaz, Hillary fears being booed by mourners. In contrast, Rudy Giuliani and Gov. George Pataka attended hundreds of funerals.

FOXNews attempted to learn from Hillary's office how many funerals she had attended. Her office has refused to give a response. Senator Chuck Schumer's office did respond. He attend 10 funeral services.

Anthony Gardener, who lost his brother Harvey in the World Trade Center and has become an advocate for the victims of the disaster, told FNC that he contacted Clinton's New York office twice but got no response. "I invited her to come and be on our board of advisers to help us with the nonprofit support group that we created, WTC United Family Group," Gardener told O'Reilly. "I never had any feedback from her office, not even an assistant to an assistant or anyone."

Why would she fear being booed? Perhaps it is partly because of Hillary's cozy past with the Black Panthers at Yale. Perhaps is it partly because of running cartoons in the Yale newspaper depicting officers as pigs. Perhaps it is the world's smartest lawyer publicly declaring that the police were murderers in the tragic shooting of shooting of Amadou Diallou before they had a trial.

Her alliance with race-baiter Al Sharpton and public pronouncements actually inflamed racial tensions and helped encourage rioters in Brooklyn hurling bricks and urine-filled bottles at the police. After years of great work by the police and mayor Giuliani substantially cleaning up New York, there was a threat by the Justice Department for a federal takeover of the NYPD. Little notice by the mainstream media was given to the fact that shootings by New York City police officers were at a 30-year low.

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) endorsed George W. Bush for president on Sept. 8, 2000 after having endorsed Bill Clinton in 1992 and 1996. The change of heart, according FOP national president Gilbert G. Gallegos, was because of federal harassment and Justice Department lawsuits against police departments and the Clinton pardoning of FALN terrorists. That pardoning of 16 unrepentant Puerto Rican terrorists was clearly calculated to bring Hispanic votes to Hillary's run for the senate.

Everything is a photo-op. Everything is always about Hillary. May Americans wake up in time.

Just one of many sites with posts on why Hillary is so horrid..

There are 3 movies detailing she and her husbands character and lack of ethics. The Clinton Chronicles, Hillary Clinton: The Movie and Hillary Clinton: It's All A Big Lie... she is a sociopath (like her husband) who will do or say anything for power. She wants to pull us out overnight for a war which she voted to hand over powers of war to one man, Bush, in effect going against the Constitutional ideal. She lied about sniper fire, believe me, my dad is a veteran and you damn sure remember SNIPER FIRE!!!! She was for NAFTA, she flip flops on immigrant rights, and overall a big fat liar like the movies about her claim. She disgusts me, and if she pulls us out of Iraq overnight as claimed, we can look forward to a war in the Middle East disproportionate to any seen before, WW III. If she gets nominated, I will do everything in my power to make sure McCain gets elected. I am an Obama supporter. If McCain gets elected we can look forward to a recession the likes of the original depression, with broken infrastructure, broken schools, but at least we won't get nuked. Hillary is as a bad as Bush.

Dan, they are not 'silly' movies, and she's been tied to dozens and dozens of people who are dead, missing or serving time. Many of the killed people supposedly shot themselves in the back of the head and threw themselves in dumpsters. Your a flocking idiot if you think she is an honest, or ethical human being. If I took a look at your life based on your comments, I'd bet you're a pretty miserable person with a miserable life. You don't know or care to know the truth.

hey, just ran across this on my way out. Things are going just grand out here in Iraq, in the event somebody was capable enough to step away from their CNN superbrainwave that creates all their opinions for them, I have a shread of good news - yesterday Saw the first baby ward get put up in the AO - it was amazing. I am excited about the real big stuff coming soon here - things their previous leaders never afforded them, but that doesnt mean much when he wouldnt afford them life to begin with.

Anyway - about this Hillary issue (I may be way out of date here, there was alot of comments)
I actually only had a few questions:

Does anybody foresee any progress of America, as far as getting back to values?

Liberals please be careful when you answer (remember that every last one of all liberal political leaders in the Dalier-Right debate in 2002 ((including lil miss hill)) agreed that majority of social problems stem or are are rooted from parenting and construct failure in the home.
What I am asking, is there anybody out there who has yet to offer anything initializing a reversal of this now snowballing effect of moral loss? just curious.

Extensively looking at each candidate and the way the public in general has reacted to them - its hard to tell - they are about equally "hated," "feared," or "resented" by different people - each candidate definitely seems to be appealing to specific demographic targets, It doesnt appear that any one of them will take an undevided lower middle class vote.

I dont know Hillary Person, but at the end of the day - humility is what catches my attention. As far as her persona that I have seen through the media, she has a go-getter attitude that definitely appears difficult to shut off, and what is she trying to "go get?"
All three of them fail to bring anything special to the table -other than unprecedented physical features to this particular position.

my second question, at this point of our fiscal losses - and the weight of the union debt on us - which one of these candidates is capable of miracling us from this economic status? ((cut throat conservitives - remember - in the event you havent done your homework - more money is coming out of this country to America than is going in to it right now - the public just doesnt get a copy of the fiscal report from the state department until mid next year. I dont know where the money is going, but once we got these oil lines resecured here - Iraq was making "double payments" on the priceless debt they owe us. Forget the Pelosi theme that ending the war will lower gas prices.. I mean seriously - who has a good plan? WWGD? What would greenspan do? I think this is going to be like the flu, were just going to have to let it pass with time.

Oh, and the reason why I hate hillary is because somebody put her bumper sticker on my car without my permission.

It’s all about Homeland America versus the MSM and Blogosphere America

If one considers the real-world interpretation of this year's primary results issuing from Homeland America and not just the anti-Hillary mainstream media and Blogosphere America, a completely different picture of Hillary emerges. She practically tied Obama in the popular vote, which seems to indicate at the very least that Obama is just as hated as she is, despite the fact that he’s had the mainstream media supporting him and bashing her. On a level playing field, using evenly weighted standards without the MSM and the Blogosphere against her, these results must be interpreted as her having virtually crushed Obama in a landslide victory and that she is America’s most admired woman. The general election will reflect the popular will of everyday Americans, including our parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles not addicted to the hogwash of the airways and blogways. An Obama /Hillary dream ticket would slaughter McCain thanks in particular to her and our silent majority.
