Well, ok, it may have been--alright, it totally was--flat, dull and low-content. But it certainly set up her Obama endorsement. And we certainly wouldn't want to say anything negative about a pretzledent with 30% approval. Hmm--was she just trying to be the anti-Cheney??

Funny.

Bet the Democrats wish they would have answered with Barbara Boxer. My vote, though, would have gone to McCaskill. She's the Democrat that even Republicans can relate to. I know the Dems might not like that characterization, but in the end, I gotta tell you, Claire is good on her feet and can even appeal to conservatives.

McCaskill would have been a great choice.

I've never understood the buzz about Sebelius. The whole "Democratic governor of a red state" thing is largely because the Kansas Republican party is badly divided and can't provide a good challenger.

In office she hasn't really done much. She has avoided most of the big issues like budgets, education, evolution, etc. She only jumped into the coal plant issue after being embarrassed into it. It seems that her biggest skill is simply staying out of trouble.
